Police Release Video of Suspects Who Struck Home in Hollywood Hills

by Contributing Editor

Police Monday sought the public’s help in identifying two burglary suspects who were recorded on home security video at a residence in the Hollywood Hills.

The suspects approached the home in the area of Hillside Avenue and Ogden Drive about 5:40 p.m. Friday and rang the doorbell. They waited a few minutes before shattering the door’s glass and making entry into the home, which they ransacked, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

“The suspects stole the victim’s expensive watches and a Mac computer, then fled the location,” according to a police statement.

The suspects are described as black men between 18 and 25 years old, both with thin builds. One wore a dark hoodie and was recorded as he spoke into a cell phone. The other has short hair and tattoos on both arms.

Anyone with information about the suspects was urged to call the detectives handling the case at 213-972-2929 or 213-972-2931.

During non-business hours, calls should be directed to 877-LAPD-24-7. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS or lacrimestoppers.org.
