Authorities ID Man Fatally Shot in Skid Row Area of Los Angeles

Authorities Thursday identified a man who was fatally shot in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles.

Officers were sent to Sixth and San Julian streets at about 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Alvin Wiley, 61, died at the scene, the coroner’s office reported. His city of residence was not known.

No arrests have been reported and no suspect description has been released.
