One dead, another critical in Chatsworth crash

CHATSWORTH — A traffic crash in Chatsworth Monday morning left one person dead and another critically injured, authorities said.

The crash was reported shortly after 8 a.m. on the 21600 block of Marilla Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One person died at the scene, the LAFD reported. Information on the person’s identity was not immediately known.

The other person was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
