40-year-old woman killed in North Hills hit-and-run ID’d

LOS ANGELES – Authorities today identified a woman who was struck and killed in North Hills by a hit-and-run driver who remains at large.
Dania Campos, 40, of North Hills, died at the scene of the crash that occurred about 12:05 a.m. Sunday on Roscoe Boulevard near Haskell Avenue, according to the coroner’s office and the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to police, Campos was walking outside a crosswalk when she was hit by a black vehicle that was westbound on Roscoe Boulevard. No description was available of the motorist, who did not stop.
A reward of up to $50,000 was offered to anyone who provides information leading to the driver’s identification, apprehension and conviction, according to the LAPD.
